Hello, I’m Katie
I’ve always had a passion for all kinds of animals, and so it was only natural that I would want to work with them. My journey started when I completed the Animal Management Level 3 – Collections and Conservation Pathway at Askham Bryan college. But over my two years studying animal management I realised that zoo keeping wasn’t for me, and that I wanted to do something different with the skills and knowledge I had acquired. So I decided to follow my passion to work with the animals that are closest to my heart, dogs. I started my dog grooming career at Muckypups Hub in Selby, gaining great experience by working closely with the owner Leanne. To help me learn new skills and polish the ones that I’d already acquired, I enrolled on the City and Guilds Level 2 – Plus styling (Level 3 Training) course at Snoots Training Academy in Goole, where I was proud to gain my official City and Guilds certification.

I really enjoy working with my lovely customers and getting to know new dogs every day. But what I enjoy most is when my customers really like what I’ve done for them and have had a great experience too.
I just wanted to send a sincere thank you to Katie for making Jessica’s first visit a happy experience. I was thrilled with her new clip and look forward to our next visit.

This is Winston’s first time at a dog groomers as he is 15 weeks old. Katie took her time to make sure he felt comfortable, I am delighted with Winston’s groom and will be returning.

We are really pleased with the cut Eric has had with Katie. His is a shih tzu lhasa apso mix and his hair grows long quickly especially around his face and back end. He is also quite a stubborn lad and not a fan of water. Katie took her times so that he didn’t become anxious and he has returned home looking beautiful and tidy and smelling fabulous! Thankyou so much.

My French bulldog, Frankie has visited Bark N Bubbles for a deshed and pamper. He hates getting washed but Katie was so good with him and tried different ways of getting him dried as he’s terrified of the hair dryer – typical mad Frenchie! Would heartily recommend Katie and Bark n Bubbles.
